This is just to let you know that our picture website (http://picasaweb.google.com/daveandamityinsendai) has pictures from last weekend's event at school. We haven't had time to write a post - it will be here sometime this weekend, hopefully.

Wow, it's been a night. Dave found it funny (now that I'm home), but it may be because he's tired too, and he's making me post it now. Title says it all.

Here's a couple strange stories, completely devoid of pictures because we were very silly and somehow decided two days in a row that there would be no pictures worth taking... I'm sorry.
Finally, the last post. Since there are no pics for the onsen (hotspring), for reasons you'll realize soon, we also are mentioning a bit about the hotel, which has pics. This is written by Amity, because she's the one with most of the 'experience'.

The long-awaited second post in the weekend series (starting to feel pretty delayed right now). Warning: It is long. Some pictures are posted, but you can find all of them here, in our picture website (http://picasaweb.google.com/daveandamityinsendai/). In this case, pictures really are worth a thousand words.
Written by both Amity and Dave. Sunday/Monday we took our first official trip to a hotspring hotel in an area called Zao Onsen (onsen - hotspring) and visited Lake Okama. Because of the plethora of new experiences, we have decided to break this post into three so it is a little more chewable. Everything will be presented in mostly chronological order. Part I - Zao Range and Lake Okama; Part II - First traditional Japanese meal; Part III - Hotel Room and Onsen Experience.
Also, due the sheer amounts of pictures we took, choice ones will be presented here and all can be seen by clicking this link (we suggest right-clicking and "open link in new window"-ing, or in a new tab if you prefer): http://picasaweb.google.com/daveandamityinsendai/
Dave did the captions. They are designed to be read in slideshow mode (after you open the album, there's a "slideshow" button at the top left), or at least one at a time (double-click on the first picture and use arrows).

So, it's been commented on how I missed my paired-posting with Dave. Sorry! I had homework (my classes started earlier, and somehow even when Dave has homework, it goes away rather quickly...gr). Anyway, last weekend we went to a yosakoi festival and took some nifty pics.
